Come away and take this opportunity to journey inwards, revealing the transformative and transcendental space of dynamic stillness within you. Principal teacher and founder of SATTVA Yoga, Rameen Peyrow, will facilitate and provide daily guidance into the realms of the physical Hatha Yoga postures, breath work and meditation, so to transform the body and mind into a conduit of higher-self connection. The intention of this retreat is to anchor you into the direct experience of the dynamic intelligence that flows through you, always. 
The retreat place “Felsentor” is a real treasure a quiet location and place of healing power. You will experience wonderful days in balance surrounded by incredible nature. Recharge in this beautiful place high up on car-free Rigi mountain, surrounded by nature with majestic views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. No matter whether you are a teacher yourself or new to meditation the knowing Rameen will share with you, will develop your meditation practice to step forward individually on your personal path of yoga and meditation. 

 

Rameen Peyrow

Rameen is a senior meditation teacher and has been teaching yoga and meditation for 20 years. He has a holistic approach to teaching that is dedicated to healing body and mind through the process of self-inquiry and the ancient techniques of the yogic arts.

His mission is to aid in the liberation of body and mind for each individual. He is the founder of SATTVA Yoga, an authentic practice of yoga steeped in ancient lineage and wisdom, and owner of the SATTVA School of Yoga & SATTVA Online, a center and online platform dedicated to developing yoga practitioners and teachers. He is also the founder of SCIENCE OF SELF, an Organization with the mission to usher in a modern movement of meditation.

Rameen developed and founded SATTVA Ananda Meditation method, a repertoire of meditation techniques designed to guide an individual all the way to full realization. In his early age of 21, he was the youngest teacher authorized in the world at the time by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois.

Today Rameen lives in Edmonton Canada, he believes the techniques of Yoga and Meditation are simply tools to create more harmony within the body and mind for recognizing the essence of the true Self.

What will you learn?

Meditation is known to reduce stress and anxiety, improve overall mental health and well-being, and relax and soothe all the body systems. Learn how to create more space inside your life so that you can experience the best version of yourself.

Learn how to align your body, breath and mind to the practice of meditation. You will learn techniques to strengthen your awareness, and to guide you naturally into a meditative state so you will walk away with the benefits of a lifelong meditation practice.

Location

Felsentor is located in a breathtaking landscape, directly above Lake Lucerne. Surrounded by forests, waterfalls and alpine pastures, the place, with its strength and natural beauty provides an ideal setting for a time in silence, retreat and meditation.

In front of the guesthouse the view opens to the lake and the varied staggered panorama of the higher Swiss Alps in the background. Next to the guesthouse is a garden café. A lovely terrace invites you to linger in the shade of large trees. The seminar house is a historic mountain hotel, built in 1869 and carefully renovated by the foundation, now surrounded by it’s garden with flowers and medicinal herbs. Behind the guesthouse you will find the Zendo (meditation building), which is almost hidden for people hiking by. It is embedded in a spacious Zen garden, which gives the place an atmosphere of peace, tranquility, harmony and beauty.
